External applicants
uni-assist e.V. will check whether your certificate entitles you to study at h_da for a fee.
Information on the start date (WiSe ≘ winter semester, SuSe ≘ summer semester), the type of admission (NC, free, aptitude test, individual) and the language of instruction of your desired degree programme can be found in the degree programme profile.
For German-language degree programmes, sufficient knowledge of German must be demonstrated; for English-language degree programmes, sufficient knowledge of English must be demonstrated.
Bachelor & Diplom (German Academic Degree)
The prerequisite is a higher education entrance qualification that corresponds to the level of the German Abitur or, alternatively, attendance at a preparatory college (Studienkolleg)
Restricted admission (NC)
The number of study places is limited. If the number of applications exceeds the number of study places, an allocation procedure will be carried out.
Register via hochschulstart - you will then find your BID and BAN in your user account there under "My data" for the application to uni-assist e.V.
If your application is assessed favourably, it will be forwarded and you will take part in the admissions procedure. If you are admitted, you must accept the study place on hochschulstart. You will then receive notification of admission and can apply for enrolment.

Aptitude test
Application via uni-assist e.V. - In the event of a positive assessment, your application will be forwarded and checked to see whether your artistic aptitude is sufficient for admission. If the suitability is sufficient, you will receive a letter of admission.

Master
The prerequisite is a first academic degree that is equivalent to a German Bachelor's degree. Programme-specific admission requirements can be found in the programme profile under Access.
Application via uni-assist e.V. - In the event of a positive assessment, your application will be forwarded and the relevant faculty will check whether you fulfil the requirements for admission. If you fulfil the requirements, you will receive a letter of admission.
