Change of personal data during your studies
If your personal or contact details change, it is important that you inform the Student Service Center and, if necessary, your faculty promptly. Otherwise, important documents, for example, cannot be delivered.
If you have moved, you can change your address yourself in the university portal my.h-da.de. To do so, please log in with your student account. Under "My studies" you will find the option "Student services" and there the tab "Contact details".
If your address is preceded by "XXX", this means that mail was returned to h_da with the note "undeliverable". In this case, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can change your address and resend the mail.
If your first name is not stored correctly or you would like to add a second first name, please contact us by e-mail at email@example.com and attach appropriate proof (e.g. copy of ID card). Please also let us know if you need a new CampusCard.
If you wish to change the gender and/or first name registered in our system, please email us this Form (in German) form and let us know if you need a new CampusCard. We will then arrange for the change to be made to your student account. Please consider notifying your faculty of the change as well.
We do not require official proof of the change or a copy of the dgti supplementary certificate.
Availability over Christmas and New Year
We will not be available from December 21st, 2022 up to and including January 4th, 2023. From January 5th, 2023 you can reach us again as usual. We wish you happy holidays and a good start into the year 2023!
