Help Yourself (German): Contact points for study matters


Change of personal data during your studies

If your personal or contact details change, it is important that you inform the Student Service Center and, if necessary, your faculty promptly. Otherwise, important documents, for example, cannot be delivered.

If you have moved, you can change your address yourself in the university portal my.h-da.de. To do so, please log in with your student account. Under "My studies" you will find the option "Student services" and there the tab "Contact details".

If your address is preceded by "XXX", this means that mail was returned to h_da with the note "undeliverable". In this case, please contact us at helpdesk@h-da.de so that we can change your address and resend the mail.

If your first name is not stored correctly or if you would like to add a second first name, you can apply for this directly on my.h-da.de in the section "Studienservice". You can upload a corresponding proof directly there (e.g. copy of your identity card). Please let us know if you need a new CampusCard. We will then arrange for the change to be made to your student account. Please consider notifying your faculty of the change as well.

If you wish to change the gender and/or first name stored in the system, you can apply for this directly on my.h-da.de in the section "Studienservice". Please let us know if you need a new CampusCard. We will then arrange for your student account to be changed. Please consider whether you would also like to inform your department of the change.

We do not require official proof of the change or a copy of the dgti supplementary certificate.

Print Service of the h_da

The department Service Print Medien offers all students a convenient printing service. Everything related to studying can be printed there, e.g. scripts, term papers, posters, CAD plans, flyers for events or even theses. You can order via our own Webshop after logging in.
