Sustainable Transformation

With its current way of life and consumption of resources, humanity is threatening to exceed planetary boundaries and destroy the natural foundations of life. The climate crisis and its increasingly tangible effects are a daily reminder of this. This is why h_da has made sustainable transformation one of its profile-forming research focuses and positioned itself as a driver of innovation, consultant and moderator. Our applied research and development work focuses on the economic, technical, social and ecological dimensions of sustainable transformation and involves many departments and central institutions at h_da.

We develop concepts for the circular economy, provide solutions for the construction and healthcare sectors and make concrete contributions to the mobility, energy and heating transition. We point out scientifically sound possibilities, support projects, advise stakeholders in politics, administration and business and thus promote the necessary change of direction on a small and large scale - whether industrial or individual.
