Events and Networking

DAAD Prize

The h_da can award a prize for an international student through the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The prize for outstanding achievements comes with prize money of 1.000,00€.

The prize recognizes very good academic achievements and a remarkable social, societal or university-internal commitment.

You cannot apply yourself, but you may be nominated through a professor if you meet the following criteria:

  • You are an international student and plan to graduate from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences (h_da).
  • You are at least in the 2nd year of your Bachelor's degree or at least in the 2nd semester of your Master's degree.
  • You have at least good academic performance and are socially engaged.

If these criteria apply to you, you can contact one of your professors. Reasoned proposals can be submitted until 15.09.2025 for the selection process.
