We offer this course at the beginning of each semester for anyone who has moved to Germany to study. It provides the basics for successful studies: First steps in Germany and at h_da, residence regulations, organising your studies & important study tools. The h_da can award a prize for an international student through the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The prize for outstanding achievements comes with prize money of 1.000,00€.
The prize recognizes very good academic achievements and a remarkable social, societal or university-internal commitment.
You cannot apply yourself, but you may be nominated through a professor if you meet the following criteria:
