Transfer

Knowledge and technology transfer is our third mission alongside research and education. We define this as the mutual exchange of scientific knowledge and innovations with actors from society, politics, science and business. These partnerships always aim to produce concrete results and solutions. In accordance with our profile, we target socially relevant topics with a special focus on sustainable development.

The h_da sees itself as an impulse generator and innovation driver. Out of this role, we want to significantly contribute to shaping the future of the Rhine-Main region. We also have excellent networks across all disciplines throughout Europe. As part of the EUT+ initiative, we are involved in several interdisciplinary European research institutes, including a major role in the European Innovation & Technology Transfer Office (EITTO). Because we are convinced of the great benefits of such transfer, we actively support our researchers in making an impact in science and practice in equal measure.
