Research at h_da

Research, development and transfer is a central and lively component of Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. This is reflected in the increasing number of research projects in the various research topics that have been adressed over the years. The Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences cooperates in many ways and participates in research initiatives. Internal and external networking as well as the strengthening of research-related cooperation and lively knowledge and technology transfer are actively promoted. To this end, invitations are extended to a wide variety of events, information and advice (internal link) are continously provided, and young scientists are comprehensively supported.

Access and links toinformation services and funding databases (internal link) are available for research on funding programmes and calls for proposals for the acquisition of third-party funding.

For this purpose, the Service Centre Research and Transfer (SFT) is available as an administrative interface.

The Center for Research and Development (ZFE) represents the interests of the h_da researchers and organizes the university's internal Central Research Funding (ZFF) and Research Structure Funding (FSF).

The h_da offers both internal university events for information especially on various aspects of research as well as events for networking with cooperation partners.

The Graduate School of the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences (GSD) supports young scientists and doctoral students at the h_da. It is the h_da's central point of contact as the office for the doctoral centers, contact for cooperative doctorates and offers doctoral studies.
